One block.......

One more block for the border.  I cut it from scraps so there was only enough for one block.  I like the combination though and I have more of both fabrics so I will probably make blocks like this.
The little birds love the forsythia bush that is right up next to the house.  They are there especially on windy days.
The birds pick at something on the branches but it isn't the flower buds that have been set for next spring.  I think this one has something in his beak.
I worked at the quilt shop yesterday and computer club at night.  I got one binding sewn on last night.  Saturday is Dad's birthday, 98, so there is going to be a little party at his residence.  Never a dull moment.

love the birds. It has taken awhile for my birds to come back after our last travels. I had the feeder full for over 2 weeks before they started to arrive now I can sit back and enjoy watching the birds from the sewing window once again.

You DO stay incredibly busy, and I really like the combination of fabrics in that block! I enjoy watching the birds, too (and the chickens!). I know a lot of people don't like sparrows, but I do.

I think the sparrows are eating little mites, great photos. I had about 5 Starlings lined up on my fence the other day, as there is a banana palm up against the fence. They were taking turns picking at the the bananas it was so funny. If one bird took to much the others complained! I couldn't get close enough for a photo though.

98 years old - that is amazing! I hope my dad lives that long. I like how you get those birds to sit still for you. :-) And I like your vibrant block; pretty colors.
