It was an 'every thing else' day........

Some days plan themselves so you might as well give in and go with the flow.  Errands in the morning, a pleasant phone call from a friend in the afternoon, visiting Dad and taking pizza in the evening.  There were lots of other little things not worth mentioning and the day was over.  I looked at this pile of hand dyed pieces and tried to decide if I should cut some shape out of all of them with my Studio cutter and then I'll have leftovers which will be fun to play with.
You may have recognized them as a scrap bag from Cherrywood.  I went to the website and see they have raised the price a little on them.  I bought this bag(s) more than 5 years ago.

I love Cherrywood and have made several quilts with them. I have been tempted to purchase another grab bag as of late, because they are running a special promo. Now I think that you have made me make that decision! Off I go...

I didn't get to any sewing yesterday. I had a nice visit and lunch with my friend Pat from Sandwich. It was a nice day and maybe the next time we get together you could join us.

Lovely scraps! Some days are flowing days, all right...That's what makes the days within the sewing room worthwhile...or is it the other way around?

I agree; some days it's just easier to go with the flow!

Love your bag of scraps; as far as I know we don't have anything like that in Australia!

Cherrywood recently (earlier this month?) had a sale on the scrap bags - buy one, get one. :-)

I love following your blog. Inspires me to get going on my projects.

Those fabrics are gorgeous -- they really do look like suede!

Oboy, just what I need, more fabric to want! Are you merely evil, or actively wicked? LOL!

Cherrywood's 2-for-1 grab bag sale ends today, and I took the bait. Oy!
