A finish for June......

I did meandering with 3 different colors of thread, light at the top and increasingly darker as I got to the bottom.  I used the same print for binding that I have on the back and finished the binding by machine, stitching in the ditch on top to catch the folded edge on the back.  I actually quilted this last week and have quilted 2 more since then which I'll show when they have their binding on.  This one is about 45" wide so it will be a nice lap quilt.

I'm a big fan of zigzags anyway, but this is more wonderful for all the value and color shifts. Love it!

This one is lovely! You are so talented with your colors. I'm partial to the happiness that yellow brings so this one really makes me smile. :) Great job.

Thank you for the inspiration. I'm quilting a blizzard quilt for my sister, very simple piecing and lots of different patterned fabric.
I've never used meander all over a scrappy quilt before. I usually do some sort of freehand grid. When I saw your quilt, I knew it wa sideal. I'm halfway through and it looks really good. Thank you.
