Wavy grid quilting

A couple commenters said they had never seen wavy grid quilting before so I thought I would make a collage of the ones I have shown in previous years with this style of quilting.

If you want to see more about any of these quilts, click on Machine Quilting in the Label list on my right side bar and scroll down through the posts.

Fun! Is it completely freehand?

I really like that curvy quilting. I have quilted with a curve but it was smaller but I think I want to try the big wavy lines.

how do you make a collage? I have been trying to work it out, and haven't yet!

Did you do it with a wavy ruler or is it free motion? Very nice!

I did a mini quilt that I quilted just last night with a free motion wavy grid. I am sure I will use the wavy grid again. It was very easy and fun to do.

That's my new favorite way of quilting too!

I have the same question as some others. Do you do the waves free hand? They look great.

I like your wavy grid, and the Bento Box really looks pretty. Do you freehand that quilting?

Beautiful quilts wanda, always come away so inspired by my visit....i love the wavy grid pattern, i use it a lot in my simple quilts especialli when they are made up by sqares or rectangles or a combination of both shapes. I use a walking foot and you?
