Progress, and a garden peek......

The top half is sewn together, or rather the right half as it will be turned a quarter turn to the right to hang on the wall.  I think it looks even better sewn together.  I have some ladies coming to my house to sew on Tuesday so I needed to have it secure on the wall.  I might get another row sewn today and then I can pin the rest to the wall and finish vacuuming.

Our weather has been so changeable.  We had 90 degrees on Tuesday and 45 yesterday.  The 3 hot days that we had really boosted the growth of the hostas, violets and lily of the valley.

The little blue spot in the previous photo is a Columbine.  I shot these photos from my kitchen window.

I shot this photo from the dining room window so I didn't have to go out in the wet grass and cold air.  This is a huge Cranesbill in full flower with one of my favorite hostas behind it.

This weather is horrible.
Wish summer would be here for good.
Love you flowers.

Your 'sewn together' part of the quilt does indeed look terrific! I love your garden pics. We are stuck in an unsettled weather pattern and are supposed to get rain for the next five days. Also below normal temperatures. Your garden is a few weeks ahead of mine. I still have tulips in bloom and very little else.

Your quilt is looking beautiful! I so wish the weather would stay consistent for a little while. Ours has been nice and this week it is going to be cool and rainy for 5 days. They said that we may not see the sun until the weekend.

The rabbit blends so well into his background that I barely saw him!!

I love hostas! (And the quilt looks terrific).

The quilt is just so beautiful. I love it.

As for the weather, this morning I was back to my winter coat to walk the dogs at 5:15. It was 36 degrees and breezy. Brrrrrrr! This weather is as changeable as the wind.

Your quilt is going to be stunning!
Thanks for sharing the photos of your garden. It looks like everything is blooming. Cute little bunnie in there but he's probably eating your wonderful greenery.

Love the bunny :) What camera do you use? These are terrific snaps. And the quilt is coming along nicely!

Oh, how I love that quilt -- makes me think of an illustrated guide to the planets, with some closer than others!
Our weather has been strange -- hot and humid on Friday, but then just cold and rainy since. We'll be lucky to get as high as 50 today.

Is anyone having nice weather? Saturday in Ohio it was 78 degrees and I had just enough time to mow before it rained again. Sunday about 7:30 p.m. is was 48 degrees and of course still raining! I can imagine the farmers are very worried about planting their crops this year.

Our weather has been really nasty too. Hot..cold...hot...cold!

The flowers look wonderful. The blue Columbine is such a pretty color.

The quilt is going to be fabulous.

I love your quilt top...it's a beauty for sure and I agree that it does look much better when it's sewn together. I've never noticed that before.

Our weather out here in So Cal has been pretty changeable too this year. We had a glorious day yesterday, but this week we're in for another big rain storm (possible some snow in the mountains). I don't mind the rain since we've been dry for so many years. Our watering restrictions have been lifted so our yards should be really green and beautiful this year.

A couple of years ago we had lots of bunnies. Now we have lots of hawks and no more bunnies!

The quilt is going to be spectaclur. I really love it and am going to start buying some batiks so that I can make something similar. It is too wet for me to find out if the lily of valley are blooming. I wish I had some violets here but there are none in sight. My columbine is just about ready to pop and it is purple. The yellow Iris is blooming. Don't you just love spring and the beauty that is all around?

Beautiful piece.
What type of camera do you use and is it "purse" sized?
