More snow..........

I'm still playing with the journal covers.  I have to make a big batch at once because I have so much stuff out to do them.  I rarely ever just do one.  Then when I'm tired of making them I can put all of it away and have my worktable back.  These 2 are pieced and have the fusible fleece pressed in place.  I haven't chosen the linings for them yet.  I went to the computer club Christmas party last night so my hours were cut short.

They said we would have flurries ending in the afternoon yesterday.  Instead we had flurries all day into the evening.  The streets had been cleared of the couple inches we got Wed. night and now the streets are covered again.  I don't mind snow on the grass but I don't like slippery streets.  I guess I'm getting old and cranky!

Here is another bunny from a couple nights ago.  I think they are so cute.  On the other hand, I hope they don't multiply too fast because they can be pests in the summer time.

These are terrific journal covers!! You really are cranking them out. I am in awe of how much snow you have gotten. In contrast, we have only gotten a little less than an inch.

I am thinking I might have to do some journal covers too. No snow here, but we did have 3 days of grey skies and about 10 inches of rain in 12 hours.... Way to much water falling from the sky.

I love the 'excitement' of your journal covers! The fabrics are wonderful. It's funny reading about the snow at your place. Where I live in sub-tropical Queensland (Australia) we are sweltering at the moment but I guess that's what our Christmas season is all about...heat! (and rainstorms)

pretty snow, and pretty bunny. I love the journal covers but I can see why you do a lot of them and then put it all away.

That fusible fleece looks interesting. Think I'll try working with it too. Say "hi" to the bunnies for me.

I love all your journal covers, you're clever to do large batches at once! That little bunny is so cute, he needs a name - my sister had a squirrel in her backyard she named Charlie, for no particular reason.

Be careful on the slippery streets if you go out, I have to go out now and shovel my sidewalk. I should have done it yesterday when I got home because now it's getting packed down from being walked on.

Today's secret word is "genimp", as in "a tiny, harmless mischief-maker."

Loved your Stash Manicure post yesterday.
Thank goodness we haven't had snow yet this year, but I here we could be in for some on Sunday.

Hi Wanda,
Hope you are keeping warm. Looks like you're a good 10 degrees colder than us.
Great post on Stash Manicure; maybe you'll get some brand new admirers to add to the fan club.
Every one of your journal covers is a little piece of art.

Hi Wanda, I've been enjoying your progress in the journal covers. I've been itching to make a few myself. I need a twin to help me pick up my creative slack. Wishing you Happy Holidays! Chris

Nice journal covers and a complete change from the others. I'm waiting to see what you use for linings. I know it will be pretty! I have to content myself with chickens - no bunnies to watch. LOL
