Kaffe embroideries

I don't know why I hadn't heard about this package of embroidery designs.  I was browsing an online store that had notions on sale and there it was.

Most of them relate well to his print fabrics but I haven't figured out a couple of them.  I haven't opened the package yet.  Yesterday I had lunch with my brother and sister-in-law one last time before they leave.  I spent part of the afternoon catching up on the book I had been reading.  In the evening I searched for fabrics to use for pillowcases for another project at my church.  There is a shelter in a neighboring town where women and children stay so we thought we would do the pillowcases before Christmas.

The book is a real treasure for you.
How rewarding making the pillowcases for the shelter.Just a small gift means so much.

I have seen those embroideries, but now that you have them, I am curious to see what you will do with them. They are sure to look great on whatever you will do. What book are you currently reading?

If you got to Westminster Fabrics's web site they've got loads of embroidery kits. Sadly they only sell wholesale. Interesting that they sell overseas too.

Does not surprise me he does embroidery designs and you certainly do see his style and colors. Glad you ran into it and now we all will be waiting.

my first expeience with Kaffe was when I was 15 years old, in an exotic (for me) book shop. I am now only 54 years of age, and he still excites me. I can say that about very few people ;-)
