A few blocks...............

After spending most of the day sorting, putting away, vacuuming, laundry, and dusting, I treated myself to a start on the log cabin blocks.  I have one more round of strips cut and I am contemplating making one more round after that.  After I get enough done to start playing on the design wall I'll decide if it would make it any better with that extra round.

I have had the windows open the last 2 days.  Even though it was hot out the humidity was at a tolerable level.  Today the humidity will creep back in so as soon as I'm finished baking the cookies for Monday I'll close up the house and turn on the A/C.

Those look fun! I pulled out another old UFO yesterday. It's a treat to find a quilt already cut out that I can just start sewing!

Mmmmmmm. Log cabin blocks!
Mmmmmmm. Cookies!
I was sweating and freezing all night long. Just can't figure this weather out. My husband is working in the backyard while it is still 'cool'.

Love those batik log cabins! Every time I stop by here I find a project I want to do. That looks like so much fun!

Up until looking at your batik version, I've never been too interested in making log cabin blocks. Now? Now I'm contemplating it! Maybe. :-)
We had 2 days of much less humidity but it's really going ot start building again tomorrow.
