Two out of three

I got 2 out of the 3 blocks pieced yesterday.  I wasn't sure which light fabric I was going to use until I spotted this one in the pastels box.

I helped my youngest granddaughter make curtains for her closet out of twin size sheets (zebra pattern) yesterday morning.  In the afternoon my neighbors who are moving put things in my garage for their garage sale which will be in my garage and driveway on June 24 & 25.  They have to be out of their house by Wednesday when they close on the property.  I mowed part of my yard with my non-motorized mower.  It has been hard to find a dry spell to mow and there is more rain in the forecast.

The light fabric is perfect for that block. How wonderful to be able to 'find' these interesting fabrics from within your own stash!

Great blocks! A zebra curtain sounds fantastic. I bet she loves it! Please don't say there is more rain, we always seem to get your weather the next day.

The blocks are wonderful! Oh the rain! I got the front mowed and part of the back, but the Tour de Sussie was on at 7 so I quit. Well, it is raining again today so I may need a goat instead of a mower - the grass in the back is about 6 or 7 inches high now.

I like the light fabric it goes perfectly with colors.
I'm so glad I have a riding mower but I keep over an acre mowed so I need it, even with that it takes over an hour to cut - glad the rest of the acreage woods.

I truly love your fabric choices. I need to have a yard sale of my stuff that's in my basement.

That is one way to get exercise, a good old fashion push mower ! Wed. and Thurs. are supposed to be dryer days . Love the blocks, and of course the combination of fabrics.

Great fabric choices, good contrast. Don't you just love shopping from your stash.

This is one of my favorites, would like to see a whole quilt. I think that it's the contrasts, makes it dynamic. Great, as always.

I admire your eye to use just the right part of a print to really make it shine. When I saw the large piece yesterday it was not one that caught my eye like the leaves. You brought out the beauty of the print.

You are the only one I know of that uses a push mower. No matter how big a lawn is a push mower is work !

Now there is more in your garage again ... you are one in a million... a great neighbor!
