Progress report-triangle quilt

This may not look like much progress but I finished sewing the triangles into blocks on the first row of dark squares on the left and finished 2 more rows, all except the top pieces.  I still haven't cut the light triangles that I need.  I hope I can get that done today.

I have to take my dad for a blood test every Wed. morning for 5 weeks.  His platelet count was low so they are medicating him and keeping an eye on it.  He doesn't understand why he has to go when he feels fine.  The medicine has increased his appetite though so all is not bad.

While fun, this is tedious sewing. The quilt is going to be so beautiful. Sorry about your dad and the platelets. You are a good daughter, Wanda.

The finishing stages of a quilt are wonderful! Finally joining the blocks together to make the top. I find this exciting. Your top is coming along nicely. I hope all goes well with your dad. Going every week to get my blood check would get to me too.

Seeing what you do is making me look at fabric in a whole new way. I bought some Kaffe Fassett this past weekend after seeing what you did. I just love how you put different prints with the same colors together.

This quilt is beautiful. I would like to see how you handle sewing the blocks together when you get to that point. With so many seams coming together how do you manage to not have a big lump of seam allowances? Your insight into this would be helpful to many.

I am always in awe of the many projects you keep going at the same time. Triangle quilt has been another one of my favorites to watch grow.

Hope you do not have to wait in line when you take your Dad for his tests. I remember Dr.'s appointments were always hurry up and wait... and wait.

You know a quilt is getting big when you expand onto 2 design walls!! It is looking fabulous! I'll bet it's even prettier in person.
