The second school

This is the second one room school I went to.I shared the story of it and a picture of all of the students here.

These are heart-warming photos and bring back memories. My school wasn't the same, but the people and clothing are much like they were back then. Thank you!

And....I'll bet your education was better than they get at the fancy schools these days.

Fun to see pictures of your school. Especially the merry go round. I attended a one-room country school for grades 1-3. We had the same merry go round, and I had not seen that same design again until your picture. Perhaps they were sold only to one-room country schools.

That's quite an amazing picture from a bygone era. It's hard to imagine being the teacher of students in so many different grades at the same time. I've never lived in a rural area, so I have no real concept of your young life. Thank you for sharing these photos - I greatly enjoyed them!
