Lots of cutting

One of my friends came over to baste a quilt on my big tables so I ironed fabric and did a lot of cutting. One of things I cut was another batch of strips for another Strips that Sizzle to pair with the leftover green strips. They go from a soft slightly peachy pink to a deep red. I think I might need to add a couple more dark fabrics.I also cut a bunch of strips for a scrappy floral Disappearing 9 patch. It is nice to have more than one sample for a class. Last night I sewed the binding on this quilt and got about a quarter of it hand sewn.
Today I have to work all day at the sewing machine store. I will be working on the embroidery ABC quilt which I have shown in the past.

The pinks to dark red are striking, and you say you want to add more dark tones... Will be waiting to see that too.

Have we seen the quilt you were binding last night ? Some of the fabrics look familar but would love to see the whole thing again.

I believe the darkest red you have there is the same as the one I am using for my second dear jane - I love the color.
