Happy Valentine's Day

Here is another of my antique Valentine postcards. They are so different from today's cards. This is a repeat that I showed last year when I showed a series of heart quilts in February. If you are interested in its construction, click on Prismatic Garden on the Label list on the right side of the blog and it will take you to the whole series I have made as well as some in progress pictures of some.
It's just another day for me, cleaning the house for the company on Monday, continuing to make blocks for my next project. We got a coating of snow last night which should melt today. Hurray, no shoveling!

I much prefer the vintage postcards! I'll bet you have a great collection. Your quilt is awesome--love those batiks! A couple of those fabrics almost look like lame. (Sorry, I don't know how to make the accent mark over the "e".)

Oh Wanda, I just love your series of prismatic garden quilts. They are simply gorgeous! You really have a great eye for color and color placement. You have inspired me to go through my batiks and add this to my to do list. I hop you have a wonderful Valentine's day!

I love the vintage card and the beautiful heart quilt. I think of Valentine's Day as a day to celebrate love. For many years I worked for a greeting card company so I'm a bit jaded about how commercial most holidays have become.

So in the spirit of the holiday I send you no card or candy or flowers just a lot of love from me to you. Your generous spirit and willingness to share make you dear to me and many others I am quite sure. Happy Love Day, Wanda.

That is beautiful! We got about 7" of snow Friday, what a crazy storm. It is cold today but sunny.
