Still life erupted

Remember the still life photo from a couple days ago? It erupted.

I was playing again last night and that makes a mess out of the collection of strips.
I'm off to the car dealer's today for an oil change so I'll get some reading time in. No sun this morning, and the last day of temperature in the 30's. We'll be close to 0 tonight if the predictions are right.

It does look like lava down the mountainside! Have fun!
We may actually hit 40, and I was thinking of washing the car. Don't know when I'll get another chance, and it sure needs it.

That is the mark of a true artist. Controlled chaos! I just love it. Your scraps are wonderful. We are actually having a little "heat" wave here today, it is in the 30's and actually feels warm in comparison to last week.

Controlled chaos! I have a new name for my studio! Thanks, Jackie!

Wanda, thanks for that mountain of color and the lava of order that is pouring out the sides...

back to my triangles...

your lava flow of fabric and ash from the eruption are beautiful! as long as they don't choke the creative life out of you with their sheer exuberance all will be wonderful! :-)

Wow, another magic, bottomless box of fun! Batiks are my favorite fabric to pet.

What a fun photo ~ your eruption of colorful pieces ~ makes me feel so good to look at it and think... I can keep up with you on that level many times over. (*._,*)

I went back to my pile of strips today too, and am having a bit more success. I'm not being quite so random with my pairings which I think is helping. Plus now I am starting to see something emerge - portals and trees! It shored up my enthusiasm for this exercise again.

Sigh, strip envy.
