Nature on an icy Sunday

These next 2 pictures were taken this morning. It started snowing a little before noon yesterday and then it warmed up as they predicted and it turned into an ice storm. It is up to 40 degrees this morning but my porch, sidewalk and driveway are still covered with ice. It didn't get really bad and it is supposed to be near 50 degrees for a high today.
This little guy needs a break from all of that eating but he doesn't rest far from the food.

it's quite a bit more winter-like here. We just had about six inches of snow so now it's looking a lot like Christmas.

I have had snapdragons last over the winter and bloom again first thing in the Spring. Must get some for my new garden.
I'm making cookies today and doing laundry. woowoo!

Ooh, nice & cold to sew!
We have lush green weeds everywhere! Friends came over yesterday, & we sat outside, & as Linda said, the weeds make a lovely green background!!

I saw a snapdragon blooming in a downtown planter the other day. And this is after several snowstorms. I'll have to go check and see how it's doing.
